We know that the first couple of days as an International student can
be confusing which is why we offer, during the first weeks, some
orientation activities that will help you get settled in. Registration
will take place at the department at which you are going to study.
Please plan your trip in such a way that you will be able to
participate in this meeting. Details regarding the introduction
activities can be found here.

During the introduction days you will be invited to participate in
different activities that will help you to get your studies started.
There will be registration meetings at you department, guided tours at
the library, introduction to computer facilities and much more. During
the first weeks there will also be some welcome activities for new
students arranged by the Student Union and the International Student
Committee. These activities are always optional, but attending them is
a good way to make new friends and getting to know the city.

The Student organization "emboli" organizes "Korvgrillning" - Sausage Barbeque and Outdoor games at student housing "Nacksta".

We meet outside the university and walk together to Nacksta.

Wednesday 23/1
Time: 10.00 - 14.00
The Student Union organizes a small "Fixarmässa", a drop-in questioning activity. Opportunity to ask additional questions! (N building, outside the cafeteria.)

Time: 18.15
Taco-evening at "Kårhuset".

Friday 25/1
Time: 18.00
Party at Kårhuset. Pre-party at the
university and then continued fun at Kårhuset.

Fresher's activity pass
Package - 140 SEK: On the 21th of January - you will be able to eat as many sausages you want and you will get free soda. You will get free tacos on the 23rd of January and you will get free entrance at Kårhuset.

Without the package: On the 21th of January - you will have to pay 10 SEK for one sausage or 15 SEK for one sausage and one soda. And if you want to eat tacos, you will have to pay 110 SEK before the 21th of January.
